Using our expertise in medical and scientific writing, Group Wellesley
provides a wide variety of authoring services to Athena, including
marketing collateral and Web-based continuing education content.
HealthStream
HealthStream is the leading provider of learning solutions for the
healthcare industry. More than 560 hospitals, representing approximately
450,000 healthcare professionals, currently subscribe to HealthStream's
Internet-based learning platform.
HealthStream's new learning solution, HospitalDirect, is an innovative
platform for the creation, delivery and management of hospital-focused
training interaction on medical devices and pharmaceuticals.
Group Wellesley supported the development of HospitalDirect by providing
information modeling services. Group Wellesley's expertise in medical
device documentation and FDA product labeling regulations were put to
use to create a database of medical device content used to develop the
training modules.
As part of the pilot program, healthcare professionals at Boston Medical
Center will receive hospital-based, online training on Baxter
Healthcare's iPump Pain Management System. Collectively, 1,500
hospital-based healthcare professionals at Boston Medical Center will
benefit from HealthStream's HospitalDirect pilot program. The launch of
HospitalDirect is set for March 2003.
